Empowering Owners to Build, Preserve, and Control Their Financial Future

At CFOwners, we believe true wealth is more than numbers on a balance sheet or P/L statement—it's about ownership, control, and the freedom to live life on your own terms. Founded by Chad Holstlaw, an Authorized Infinite Banking Practitioner, a CEPA (certified exit planning advisor), and former head trader, CFOwners was created to serve one clear purpose: to help business owners, investors, and entrepreneurs succeed without depending on Wall Street.

We understand the challenges that come with building something of your own—your business, your family's future, and your legacy. Our mission is to empower you with the right knowledge, strategies, and tools to make smarter financial decisions so you hard work translates into lasting success.

The Problem

Outsourcing Financial Decisions

Today, America is plagued with two massive issues in the world of finance: credentialism and compartmentalization. Those advising clients routinely hide behind their degrees or certificates to justify their authority. Their role for being is selling clients the ideal of giving up control to Wall Street and bankers. What we end up with is a system where you capital is working for someone else — not you.

Unfortunately, due to the complex structure of the advisory business, many end up employing top-down, one-size-fits-all approaches to thousands of their clients. Money management is a highly scalable business, but with scale comes a lack of awareness and attention. We caution clients about outsourcing their capital management to MBAs who have never made payroll.

To us, it fundamentally makes no sense to take a big portion of capital from YOUR business and invest in someone ELSE's business (i.e., the stock market). Not only do you lose access to profits and control, but these businesses trading at 20x, 30x, or 50x earnings may offer significant downside risk with limited upside opportunities.

We believe the best path forward for business owners is to find ways to make their capital work harder within the business, mitigate vulnerabilities, and prioritize customer service/experience—something private equity firms completely neglect. Small businesses thrive because they offer specialization, and with that comes a duty to manage capital wisely.

About Chad Holstlaw

Founder & Financial Strategist, CFOwners

Chad began his career at a wealth management and investment banking firm, working closely with financial advisors and asset managers where he learned the ins and outs of Wall Street. He then joined a multi-billion dollar investment firm and worked his way up to head trader, specializing in sourcing liquidity for the firm’s funds, digesting and relaying critical and relevant market information, navigating volatility, managing risk, and helping generate investment ideas.

Through nearly a decade of involvement in traditional finance, Chad saw an obvious contradiction between Wall Street narratives and real world experiences. After studying banking, economics, and our money, Chad began to see how the country’s lack of sound money benefits those at the top and those in finance most while productive small businesses and skilled workers fare far worse than they did 50+ years ago.

After discovering the true power behind privatized banking, Chad saw an opportunity to help clients achieve financial independence and thrive in a system stacked against them. Today, Chad resides in the St. Petersburg, Florida area and works with small business owners, entrepreneurs, and investors across the country to regain financial control and monetize the value of their businesses.
